See the PDF manual (Pilot Notes) for more detailed descriptions.

Flying the Falcon 20/200

The Falcon 20/200 are described as a docile aircraft with nice handling qualities. We have never been in one :-)

All Falcons are using the same airfile. Takeoff trim is required. Elevator trim for take off should be in the lower green mark (Trim Gauge). Rotate at 118-120 kts.

Speed brakes can be used to manage descent for landing. Land with full flaps and go for 120 kt over the threshold. Keeping the attitude after returning throttle to idle should settle the airplane nose high.

The Falcon 20E does not have reverse thrust.

Aerodynamic braking with nose high once settled on the runway is allowed. Carefully lower the nose as speed decreases. Than start braking.

INSTALLATION

Extract the Falcon20E_V2.zip to a temporary folder and copy/move the Falcon20E_V2 folder to your Prepar3D of FSX SP2/acc installation;

...\SimObjects\Airplanes

If you want to use the suggested FMC from Garrett Smith, you can download it here:
https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=135354

Filename: honeywellfmc.zip
License: Freeware, limited distribution
Added:	25th February 2009, 15:59:13
Downloads: 43725
Author:	Garrett Smith
Size: 1151kb

Copy the unzipped gauge HoneywellFMC.CAB and the HoneywellFMC.pdf in panel folder in Falcon20E_V2.

Edit the panel.cfg section [Vcockpit03]
//gauge00=HoneywellFMC!fmc,  453,4,308,486
//gauge01=HoneywellFMC!fmc,  7,7,308,486

Remove the slashes and save.

If you dont install it, bitmap "dummies" are still present in the VC.

SOUNDS

The default sounds are aliased to the default Lear45 in FSX. In P3D it will not work due of missing Lear45.

This turbojet sound package worked out fine for the Falcon 20E V2 in FSX or P3D.
